Leifrickk the Incomprehensible
I just now made up that title for him, even though it doesn't make sense---because he seems pretty straightforward to me. He yells a lot and he can't reach his opponents. What more is there to comprehend?

More inspirational artists
Without of having some of my OWN art to post, I thought I'd better post some more blogs of co-workers of mine.
Dave McClellan is an excellent painter that has taught me a ton about lighting and color (although he might cringe to hear me say it, because people might assume that my art-failures could be his fault). I assure you, any folly on my part can be blamed on Dave, regardless of whether such blame is deserved.
Todd Harris is the concept art master, even though he doesn't know how to spell "develop." If we can get him to actually post occasionally, then you might get a glimpse into his strange, twisted, hog-loving mind.

The All-Powerful Ryan Wood
My friend and co-worker Ryan Wood now has a blog (also added to links on the right). Ryan is the first artist that inspired me to start painting---his great color sense and blinding speed convinced me that being able to paint well might be even cooler than being able to draw well.
Although I hesitate to share his link---because people will stop thinking I'm cool once they see his work---but it might be worth letting the rest of the world know about him.

Fishy Pirate
Got to see an early preview screening of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 courtesy of my company. I enjoyed the movie a lot---maybe not as much as the first one---but it was still pretty good. I really liked the creepy fishy pirates. My wife didn't like them at all though, because she thought they were too gross. Maybe they are, but I still liked them. Although I don't think I'm going to eat any seafood for a while.
I started on this sketch today. This represents maybe two hours of work (when I should have been working). I think I may go back later and re-design him though because I'm not 100% happy with him.
